Overview


At GooCampus Edu Solutions Pvt Ltd, we enhance our student recruitment process using Facebook Lead Ads linked directly to our internal CRM (Airtable). Our integration is strictly for internal use and ensures all incoming inquiries from Facebook are securely and seamlessly added or updated in our CRM. This workflow is powered by the automation platform n8n.

Why We Built This Integration

Our marketing team runs Facebook lead generation campaigns under the "GooCampus Edu" Facebook Page to capture student interest in various study-abroad programs. The primary goal of this automation is to:

  • Collect Lead Ads submissions (including name, email, phone, custom questions)

  • Instantly record each new inquiry in our team’s internal Airtable CRM

  • Avoid manual data entry errors and ensure real-time sales follow-up

  • Update existing lead records if the same student submits their info again


Only GooCampus staff have any access—the workflow is not used for client/customer/self-service access.


How the Workflow Operates

  • Trigger: The process starts automatically when someone submits a lead form on our "GooCampus Edu" Facebook Page.

  • Data Captured: First and last name, email, contact number, and any additional form questions.

  • Automation: An n8n workflow receives the lead, searches Airtable for an existing record (matching by email/phone), and updates if found or creates new if not.

  • Internal Use Only: No external users, students, or partners access the integration or CRM; only benefit indirectly from better follow-up.


Step-by-Step Testing Instructions (For Meta Reviewers)


If you are a Meta App reviewer, please follow these steps to verify the integration:

  1. Submit a Test Lead

    • Use the Meta Lead Ads Testing Tool linked to the Facebook page GooCampus Edu.

    • Choose the relevant demo lead ad form (for example, "Gulf – PGCP Form v2.0") set up for public campaigns.

  2. Expected Automated Response

    • Upon submission, our automated n8n workflow will receive the test lead via the Facebook Lead Ads Trigger node.

    • It will attempt to match the lead in Airtable by email/contact; otherwise, it creates a new record in our CRM.

  3. Proof of Integration

    • Since our main CRM is confidential, real customer data is not viewable.

    • We can either:

      • Temporarily configure the workflow to record the dummy/test lead to a public Google Sheet OR a sanitized Airtable view with no real customer data.

      • Email screenshots or a video demonstration showing the test lead's arrival in our system (contact: Maheen Ejaz, maheenejaz@goocampus.in).

Additional Notes

  • This workflow does not perform any advanced data validation at present.

  • Only GooCampus Edu admins and team members can see incoming leads in Airtable.

  • All personal data is handled in compliance with our privacy policy.
